HyperionRSI Simulation, the leading process simulation solutions & services provider to the global process industries, announces that it will supply an Operator Training Simulator (OTS) System for the Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) Project, at the Training Center of Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), in Saudi Arabia.
HyperionRSI’s responsibilities on the project will include:
- • Development of the dynamic process models for the Combined Cycle Power Plant, using IndissPlus™ dynamic simulation software
- • Emulation of operator station
- • Emulation of the DCS controls

- • Development of the Instructor Station
- • Hardware and software procurement
- • Installation and commissioning at SWCC Training Center
- • Provision of appropriate training and documentation

AlNahdi, General Manager of SWCC Training Center stated, “The Combined Cycle Power Plant OTS for our training center is an important project to cater the training needs of new Ras Al Khair Desalination Plant which includes a 2,650 MW combined cycle power plant. The CCPP training will be included in our training curriculum from 2016.
