India-based Nuberg, a global engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company, has won a project worth $76 million to set up a 150 tonnes per day (tpd) chlor alkali/caustic chlorine plant in Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad), Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Nuberg secured the project from Emirates Chemical Factory (ECF) of Saif Al Khaili Group, a UAE-based conglomerate, said a statement from the company.

The project on completion will produce caustic soda and other chlorine derivatives such as chlorine, sodium hypochlorite and hydrochloric acid, it added.
