Robotic equipment manufacturer DWFritz Automation Inc. is ending 2015 with an eye toward growth in 2016 and a hiring spree.

The Wilsonville-based company has 23 open full-time positions and another 20 open contractor partner positions that it intends to fill in the near future.

The company makes automation equipment used in manufacturing within the consumer electronics, medical device, semiconductor and industrial markets. In 2013, the company moved into new 70,000 square-foot headquarters. This month it moved into an additional 35,000 square feet.

“Two years ago, we moved into our new state-of-the-art, global headquarters in Wilsonville and recruited talented candidates to satisfy strong global demand for our engineered-to-order automation systems,” said CEO Mike Fritz, in a written statement.

“We continue to see exponential growth in this sector because production facilities around the world are becoming increasingly automated.”

The company expects to continue to grow 20 percent to 30 percent for at least the next two to three years. The firm credits increased activity in the consumer electronics, medical device and electric vehicle manufacturing sectors.

The company’s open positions span all facets of the business including engineering, manufacturing, project management and finance.
