In December 2015 BRUKS was awarded a contract for the supply of the wood chip handling system, for the TILBURY RENEWABLE ENERGY PLANT.
The Tilbury plant is a waste wood/SRF Biomass plant, located at Tilbury docks, Tilbury England.
The purpose of the plant is to produce electricity on the basis of fuel in the form of waste wood.
The scope of supply is, design and supply of the wood chip handling, sampling and screening of waste wood to storage, and from storage up to the day silos for the boiler.
Wood chip will be distributed up to the storage with two conveyor lines, including weighing conveyors, capacity 2 x 440 m3/h.
From the storage, up to the screening house, for separation of overs and metal, including non-ferrous material, and up to the boiler house. 220 m3/h.
Commissioning is expected in the beginning of 2017
