1. Having celebrated your company’s much deserved silver jubilee, how does it feel to stand at the mark where you are right now?

We are well established in today's embedded market. Over the last 25 years Syslogic has become synonymous in its industry with embedded industrial computers and HMI systems without compromise. We remain loyal to industry, unlike other manufacturers, who conform ever more closely to consumer markets.

2. How has Syslogic evolved since its inception: now that you are leaders in HMI and Industrial computers?

Syslogic was founded in Switzerland in 1986. The company first started by selling standard products for industrial control. Syslogic developed quickly to a competent partner for industrial computers and HMI systems (Human-Machine Interface).

Syslogic is one of the few European embedded specialists which offers everything from one source. All work, from development and construction through to manufacturing is done by Syslogic in-house in Germany or in Switzerland. Thanks to its very hi-tech machinery and its streamlined production processes, Syslogic can provide European quality at a good price-performance ratio.

In recent years, Syslogic expanded its product assortment to include embedded computer and HMI systems for mobile uses. Thanks to the uncompromising industrial construction methods, Syslogic equipment is particularly well-suited for use in construction and special vehicles, trains and mobile machinery.

3. With digital marketing picking up its pace in the global space, what according to you will be its fate in line with other conventional marketing strategies?

Digital communication channels are an important part of our communication portfolio. Our own web presence, SEO, AdWords, as well as selected industry portals are especially important to us. One advantage of these online channels is their worldwide transparency, as well as their ever available contents.

5. How do you see the recent market trends and what way will the market shape up in the near future, according to you?

The entire mobile automation field has been increasing in significance to us at Syslogic. We deliver devices for railroad systems, for special-purpose vehicles, DTS (driverless transport systems) or agricultural machinery. Continuous vibrations and extreme temperatures create conditions which are even more challenging than those of any classical industrial applications. The Syslogic products, with their industrial design, are the perfect fit for these applications. In addition, many of our devices are certified to industry standards, like the EN50155 TX railroad class for example. Syslogic's work is always project-specific, with typical quantities of between 200 and 2000.

6. How do you think that B2B platforms help in promoting large businesses?

Another promising expansion for industrial enterprise communication systems are B2B platforms. They resemble a virtual trade fair booth, where a company has the opportunity to market itself throughout the entire year. It is very important that the B2B presence is always coordinated with other communication channels.

7. What in your opinion is the single factor that sets plant automation technology apart from others?

Plant Automation Technology has a very global presence and offers a tremendous service. And as a bonus, we are able to reach a very interesting target group.
