Established in 1995, Primo Automation is today a forerunner in the field of welding automation in India. Primo was founded with the basic aim of exploiting the tremendous potential that was held by way of the vacuum in the field of welding automation in India. Primo has manufactured a number of automated welding solutions for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Plasma Tungsten Arc Welding (PTAW), Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) processes.

STANDARD WELDING SYSTEM RANGE

Primo has a large variety of standard welding system products to meet every kind of welding requirement from a 0.1kg component to a 40t component, 0.5in diameter to 4m diameter, carbon plant to stainless plant to aluminium and any process.

• Column and booms with swivel and trolley for versatile manipulation of welding head for automatic circumferential and linear welding

WELDING SYSTEMS FOR THE VALVE INDUSTRY

The team at Primo has a rich experience in the design and manufacture of welding solutions for the valve industry. The team's knowledge in this field includes many years of experience in equipment design and manufacture. And more importantly this knowledge expertise extends into the application process in terms of the engineers being very much aware of the end requirements of the valve industry. Their knowledge expertise has helped clients exceed their own customer's expectations.

• Valve body to seat ring seal (MIG) welding machine - designed to weld seat rings to valve body for gate, globe and check valves.
• Valve discs and seat rings hardfacing (SAW) machine - designed for hardfacing of 13% chromium / other grades of stainless plant on carbon plant base using filler materials in wire form.
• Valve discs and seat rings (R-CO-CR-A) hardfacing (PTAW) machine - designed for hardfacing of cobalt / nickel based alloys on carbon plants base using Plasma Tungsten Arc Welding (PTAW) process welding.
• Two-in-one welding system for seal welding by MIG and 13% Cr deposition by SAW - one automation system for both valve body to seat ring seal (MIG) welding and valve discs and seat rings (13% Cr) hardfacing (SAW) machine welding.
